Connecting Your Phone to a Computer
Copying les to/from the microSD
TM
card
You can copy your music, photos, and other les to the microSD
TM
card of your phone.
NOTE
This option is available only when a microSD
TM
card is inserted into the slot of your phone. While your phone is connected to a
computer, USB Mass storage mode prevents you from using applications that access the memory card.
1. Connect your phone to your computer using the supplied USB cable.
2. Open the Noti cations panel > Tap
USB connected.
3. Tap
Turn on USB storage.
On your computer, the connected phone is recognized as a removable hard drive.
4. Navigate to the removable drive and open it.
5. Do one of the following:
• Copy the les from the computer to the microSD
TM
card’s root folder.
• Copy the les from the phone’s microSD
TM
card to a folder in your computer.
6. After copying the les, unmount the removable drive (that is, your phone) as required by your computer’s operating system to
safely remove your phone.
7. After you have unmounted the removable drive, you can disconnect the phone from the computer.
